Bagley Area Arts Collaborative hosted a three-day watercolor workshop facilitated by Michael Holter of Plano, TX on August 20, 21 & 22 at the Fireside Grille and Patio. The workshop was entitled “Painting a Portrait From a Photo”. Artists from as far away as Duluth and St. Cloud gathered in Bagley for the workshop. The artists were presented with several new painting skills including: glazing, layering skin tones, hair, killing whites, layering watercolors, dry brush, and fluid painting.
Michael Holter is an award-winning artist who works in watercolor and oil. His paintings can be found in private and corporate collections in the US and several foreign countries.
