Have you wanted to try colored pencil but just don’t know where to start? Have you been using colored pencils for a while and want to hone your skills or try some new materials? Whether you are a seasoned colored pencil artist, a novice, or just wanting to give it a try; this is your opportunity to join others on the colored pencil journey.

Some experience is helpful, but not required. I will take you through the process step by step. I will teach you how to layer colors and how to achieve a variety of textures with the pencil strokes you use.

The subject for this class will be a Pileated Woodpecker. We will be using Clairefontaine Pastelmat and the finished product will be 5”x7”.

All materials will be provided. NO drawing is required. The line drawing will be provided for you.
