Expressive Landscapes in Watercolor - the Damp Paper Method with Dan Mondloch
Dates: May 12 - 14, 2026
In this workshop, we will be wetting the front and back of the paper before starting. This allows for longer “open time” to blend colors, get soft edges, and maximize the amazing textures inherent to watercolor.
Mixed Media Portrait with Golden Open Acrylics & Prismacolor Pencils on Black Watercolor Paper with Pamela Edevold
Dates: June 19-21, 2026
Students will work along with Pamela Edevold while she demonstrates how to use Golden Open Acrylics and Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils together to create a colorful but natural looking portrait of a subject in highly detailed regalia. Several layers will be laid down over a tracing of the image, going back and forth with the two mediums until the desired look is achieved.
Watercolor Batik with Diane

Batik is a traditional Indonesian cloth that originated from the island of Java in the late 1800's and is still used today throughout Indonesia. It is said the word batik comes from the words Banyak Titik - meaning many dots.
Expressive Watercolor Portrait Workshop with Michael Holter

Join artist Michael Holter for this fun and fast-paced exploration of people and the way we interact with them. You will work on faces and figures to develop expressive watercolor paintings. Michael will lay the foundation with layers of instruction and assist you to put the pieces together into solid work. You will paint from photographs and explore the use of light and shadow to create interesting compositions and achieve dynamic results.
“Crashing Waves” an Oils Made Easy Workshop with Isabelle Harmon
Dates: August 12-14, 2026
Learn how to master an ocean scene by applying acrylic paint first to “block in” the basic shapes and colors. You will then use oil paint to make your own vibrant masterpiece.
Three Wire Wrapped Pendant Workshop with Connie Nunemaker
Join Connie Nunemaker, the creator of unique pendant and earring designs. Connie will help you produce a beautiful 3-wire-wrapped pendant. You will be working with gemstones and beads to produce a unique and beautiful piece. This craft involves intricate techniques, a keen eye for detail, and often a blend of traditional and modern tools.
Indigenous Art of Moccasin Making with Cindy Hamilton and Teresa McDowell
Dates: September 19-20, 2026
Students will learn the traditional Indigenous art of moccasin making from Treaty 3 Ojibwe artists Cindy Hamilton and Teresa McDowell. Each student will complete a pair of elk suede moccasins with rabbit fur trim.
